When logging with external sensor, Et appears on the MicroLog display. What does it mean?
MicroLog displays readings of internal sensors and the external NTC temperature sensor. When working with any other external sensor you can display readings only by downloading the data to the software. The MicroLog display shows Et while taking measurements of these sensors.
The MicroLog battery's maximum lifespan is approximately 1.5 years. If you use high sampling rates, the MicroLog battery's lifespan will be considerably shorter (see figure below):
The MicroLog should be checked for calibration once a year. We recommend to send the MicroLog to a certified calibration laboratory or to return the MicroLog to fourtec for factory calibration
Does the calibration procedure update both the MicroLog and the software?
The humidity calibration procedure updates both the MicroLog and the software. You will see correct readings both in MicroLog’s display and in the software.
The temperature calibration, however, will update the software only
I'm using a Cradle and a receiver but I get poor RF reception
The usable transmission range is 300m line of sight. physical obstacles like walls and buildings may reduce the range considerably.
You can use fourtec's RF repeater to double the usable range or to overcome line of sight problems. In this case place the repeater so it can "see" both the Cradle and the receiver
